She called on entrepreneurs and the whole society to grasp this aspiration, turning dreams and ambitions into aspirations to be able to effectively contribute to the development of the country.

The Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of TH Group also proposed to develop specific policies for each sector, especially agriculture. She emphasized the importance of the forest economy, which concentrates a large labor force but still faces poverty, especially in border areas. According to Ms. Thai Huong, making farmers a link in a closed value chain not only helps to reduce hunger and poverty but also promotes sustainable development right on the homeland.

In the context of the global economy shifting towards sustainable development models, Ms. Thai Huong affirmed that all economic sectors, especially agriculture, need to adhere to the green economic model, knowledge economy and circular economy. This is an approach to reduce production costs, increase labor productivity and meet international quality standards. She called on businesses and the state to cooperate to build a national brand that meets international standards for agricultural products.

In addition to economic development, Ms. Thai Huong also emphasized the importance of creating a safe and transparent legal environment. She suggested that there should be appropriate, non-overlapping legal policies to create the most favorable conditions for business development. This will help all domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and businesses have the opportunity to contribute to the country's economy.

Aspiration to improve Vietnamese stature

One notable point in Ms. Thai Huong's speech was that she expressed concern about the height and stature of Vietnamese people.

Ms. Thai Huong expressed that in order for our nation to enter a new era, an era of national growth, in addition to the economy, we need to pay attention to the "growth" in height, in other words, the stature of Vietnamese people. She provided information that currently, the average height of Vietnamese people ranks 15th from the bottom in the world, a number worth pondering. In recent years, Vietnam has achieved many achievements in improving the nutritional status of its people, but many nutritional problems still exist, especially in preschool and school age.

"I think that a law called the School Nutrition Law is needed to set standards for school meals, thereby protecting children and improving the stature and health of future generations. Science has proven that about 86% of a person's maximum height is achieved under the age of 12, which is the stage that determines the maximum development of each person's stature, physical strength and intelligence. Therefore, the issue of caring for children's nutrition at this stage, especially school nutrition, is very urgent, including the improvement of mechanisms and policies," the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Group emphasized.

According to Ms. Thai Huong, taking care of nutrition for children of preschool and school age is very urgent to ensure maximum physical and mental development.

Ms. Thai Huong's speech conveyed strong messages about the aspiration for sustainable development of Vietnamese entrepreneurs. She not only highlighted the role of entrepreneurs in innovating production methods, but also called for solidarity and joining hands with the whole country to overcome challenges to rise up in the new era. This is the spirit that General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized when he wished that entrepreneurs continue to play the role of "leading birds" leading the economy towards the future.
