Fashion, visual arts and music celebrate Vietnamese cultural heritage

Taking place from March 29 to April 19 at Furama Resort Da Nang, this event is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation. The art program includes fashion shows with collections combining Eastern and Western styles, presented by designer Pham Ngoc Anh and visual artist Pham Tuan Ngoc through the reproduction of Vietnamese heritage motifs.

Artists convey artistic messages on silk, a traditional material symbolizing the Orient, bringing elegance and sophistication.

The Western "Prussian Blue" cyanotype manual printing technique integrates heritage motifs onto silk without affecting the lightness and sheen of the material, creating a hidden visual attraction... evoking a mystical and mysterious atmosphere of the East.

The performance combines lighting effects, arousing viewers' emotions about the cultural values ​​of origin.

This art program is where fashion, visual arts and music blend together; honoring the beauty and value of Vietnamese cultural heritage, interweaving the past and present, leading the audience to explore artistic creation.

According to designer Pham Ngoc Anh and visual artist Pham Tuan Ngoc, the art program, painting exhibition and music performance "Soi may tac lua" and "Mong thien chuong" were conceived in 2019, going through more than 100 tests of cyanotype printing techniques and fabric materials.
