When will the 10th grade entrance exam results be available in Ho Chi Minh City?
According to the schedule of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year in Ho Chi Minh City specified in Appendix I issued with Official Dispatch 1682/SGDĐT-KTKĐ, the expected time to announce the results of the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City is June 20, 2023.

Application form for 10th grade admission in Ho Chi Minh City
- Students will register their wishes online on the software prescribed by the Department of Education and Training. Secondary schools will be responsible for providing guidance, support and providing accounts for parents to register.
- After completing the registration, secondary schools will be responsible for printing the documents from the software system for registering 10th grade admission wishes such as the application for secondary school graduation and 10th grade entrance exams, the wish check sheet, the application for specialized or integrated exams, etc. and have parents and students sign and confirm before transferring the documents to the Department of Education and Training for sealing.
- Three 3cm x 4cm photos (taken within the last 6 months, ID card style, with full name, date of birth, and place of birth clearly written on the back of the photo) (one photo to be attached to the Junior High School Graduation and 10th Grade Entrance Exam Registration Form, one photo to be attached to the registration form, one photo to be attached to the exam and file verification form).
- Junior high school transcript (original).
- Junior high school diploma (original) or graduation certificate (temporary) in the year of application issued by the Principal of the high school.
- Valid copy of birth certificate.
- Valid certificate of preferential bonus points issued by competent authority.
Regulations on the use of information technology and communication equipment and software in the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City
- The examination sites use unified examination reporting software, establish a system to exchange accurate and updated examination information between the examination sites and the Department of Education and Training; properly implement the procedures, structures, data processing deadlines and reporting regimes according to regulations.
- Examination sites are allowed to use computers and examination reporting software to perform the tasks of organizing the examination process according to regulations; have email addresses and phone numbers registered with the Department of Education and Training.
- In each area where the Examination Council conducts the examination organization stages (including drafting and printing examination papers, invigilation, grading, and review), 01 (one) landline telephone must be arranged in a common office or a separate room to ensure security and safety (at the Examination Site, if a landline telephone cannot be arranged for reasons of force majeure, the Chairman of the Examination Council shall decide to arrange a mobile phone without recording function, without memory card, without internet connection function and sealed when not in use).
Only use the phone's call/listen function to contact the Examination Council and Examination Steering Committees at all levels; all phone communications must be on speakerphone and listened to publicly.
For the Examination Site, arrange 01 (one) computer in the common working room of the Examination Site and ensure that the computer is only connected to the internet when sending quick reports to the Examination Council. The process of using the phone and computer must be logged and witnessed and confirmed by the inspector in each area.
- At each examination, marking and re-examination area of the Examination Council, items must be arranged to store and preserve information receiving and transmitting equipment of those performing duties there; these items must be sealed and supervised by police officers.
- For students eligible for direct admission to secondary schools, we will support them in reviewing relevant documents and registering them online and printing the direct admission application for students to sign and confirm, and also provide 2 notarized copies of documents eligible for exemption from the exam.
