Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School increases 10th grade enrollment quota

On March 3, according to the 10th grade enrollment plan of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), this school plans to increase enrollment quota for the 2025-2026 school year.

To prepare for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School has developed an enrollment plan and proposed the Department of Education and Training to increase the enrollment quota compared to the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School is expected to enroll 285 students in grade 10 in 2025. Of which, there are 4 regular grade 10 classes with 180 students and 3 integrated English classes with 105 students. Compared to the 2024-2025 school year, this year's enrollment target will increase by 80 students.

Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School was established in May 2024, on the basis of separation from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted. Therefore, the management staff and teachers are mostly those who have worked at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted before.

Currently the school has 32 classrooms equipped with air conditioning, dining area, boarding area, laboratory, art room, music room, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, pickleball court.

Last year, the admission scores for grade 10 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School were as follows:

Regular 10th grade: 1st choice: 20/total score is 30 points, 2nd choice: 21 points, 3rd choice: 22 points.

Grade 10 Integrated English: Choice 1: 32/total score 40 points, choice 2: 32.5 points, choice 3: 32.75 points.

This year's 10th grade entrance exam will be held by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training on June 6 and 7. The math and literature exams will last 120 minutes and the foreign language exam will last 90 minutes. Candidates applying to specialized schools and schools with integrated English classes will take an additional 150-minute specialized subject/integrated English exam.
