On the afternoon of May 27, news from the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang said that the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 (DIFF 2024) opened on the evening of June 8 with a top-notch artistic performance of "riding the wind and breaking the waves" on the water.
This is the most anticipated and unprecedented performance in the DIFF seasons. On the opening night of DIFF 2024, the audience will enjoy the Jetski & Flyboards sports art show, a skillful combination of dances on the water, in the air, and extreme sports performances combined with fireworks. The show is performed by the world's Top 1 Jetski and Flyboards athletes, famous for their acrobatic skills in the air.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, this top-notch performance is produced by the famous Australian manufacturer H2O. This is the world's leading producer of water and fireworks shows with more than 30 years of experience organizing shows at dozens of theme parks in the US, Australia, and China; and has experience working in blockbuster movies such as James Bond, Mission Impossible. The presence of this surprising performance promises to create a completely different highlight for DIFF 2024.
With the theme “Cultural Essence”, the opening night of DIFF 2024 is a dramatic confrontation and “artillery battle” between the ArtEventia team from France and the host team Da Nang. The representative of the ArtEventia team shared that the performance on the opening night will be called “Dance of the Dragon”. The inspiration for this performance comes from the image of a legendary dragon, majestic and sparkling. Our performance is powerful but also very gentle and delicate” – Mr. Edouard Gregoire – Artistic Director of ArtEventia shared.
With the advantage of “home field” and extensive experience through DIFF seasons, the Vietnamese team has prepared an extremely elaborate lighting show scenario through a “symphony” of more than 4,000 fireworks of various types combined with hundreds of different color effects. “Sky Dance” is the theme of the Da Nang International Fireworks Team at the DIFF 2024 festival.
Opening night tickets via the online ticketing portal (diff.vn) range from VND800,000 to VND3,000,000 for 5 categories of stands. Specially for Vietnamese tourists, the All in One Combo (including 1 DIFF ticket, 1 cable car ticket to Ba Na and 1 lunch buffet) costs from VND1,750,000 for adults and VND1,500,000 for children.
