Da Nang, the most livable city in Vietnam, is a favorite destination for couples who want to spend Valentine's Day, February 14, together.

On February 10, the Netherlands-based travel service application Booking announced a list of 10 domestic and international destinations that are most loved and searched by Vietnamese tourists on Valentine's Day. Da Nang is the domestic destination chosen by most couples to spend Valentine's Day together. The next names in the top include Da Lat, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc. A three-day, two-night trip on Valentine's Day for couples is estimated to cost from 8 million VND, excluding airfare, with a comfortable experience.

Known as "the most livable city in Vietnam", Danang impresses with its modern beauty but still has peaceful moments on the beaches. February is also an ideal time to travel here with cool weather and many festival events held, according to experts .

A survey published at the end of 2024 by Talker Research, a unit specializing in providing information on many social fields in the US, shows that room type is one of the important factors that determine the success or failure of a trip. This partly explains the attraction of Da Nang to couples on this important occasion, because this is a destination with a variety of accommodation facilities, from mid-range hotels, budget motels to 4-5 star hotels and luxury resorts.

The list was published based on data from Vietnamese tourists searching, booking rooms, air tickets and the most travel experiences on the occasion of February 14 on the application. The number of searches and bookings for services this year at many destinations increased from 50 to 70%, showing that the trend of traveling on special occasions (not official holidays) is increasingly popular. Vietnamese people today are not only limited to traditional dates but also enjoy trips together.

In addition, Vietnamese tourists increasingly know how to take advantage of cost-saving tips while still enjoying the most comfortable services such as registering to become a loyal customer to enjoy incentives. Many tourists plan to buy tickets and tours early to get cheap prices or refer to the service provider's policy such as the more services booked, the higher the discount.

In the list of 10 international destinations most loved by Vietnamese tourists on Valentine's Day, Bangkok is the top choice. Bangkok and Da Nang have many similarities that attract tourists such as many romantic experiences, diverse cuisine, modern space mixed with traditional culture.

The experiences most searched by Vietnamese customers on Booking When coming to Bangkok on February 14, take a cruise on the Chao Phraya River, watch the sunrise from the riverbank next to Wat Arun, watch Muay Thai or walk from a height of 310 on the Mahanakhon Skywalk glass bridge.
