Opening of the 32nd Session of the 13th Provincial People's Council

(Baoquangngai.vn) - The 32nd session of the 13th Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on many important contents of the province in 2025 and the whole period of 2021 - 2025; at the same time, carry out personnel work under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

On the morning of March 19, the 13th Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, held the opening of the 32nd Session (Special Session) to promptly consider and decide on issues under its authority.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cao Phuc chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and 47/49 delegates of the Provincial People's Council.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van delivered the opening speech at the meeting.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van emphasized that the 32nd session was held in March 2025, a month full of spirit, heroism and pride for the people of Quang Ngai province.

This March, the province organized many important events, such as activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the province and districts, towns and cities; the groundbreaking ceremony of VSIP II Quang Ngai Industrial Park project. In particular, on March 12, 2025, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province solemnly organized the 80th anniversary of Ba To Uprising (March 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) with the theme "Quang Ngai - Heroic Motherland", leaving a deep impression on the people. These events are not only important milestones but also the driving force for the province to successfully implement plans in 2025 and the coming term.

With the spirit of urgency and determination, not to interrupt the regular operations of agencies and units in accordance with the central direction, in order to promptly resolve arising work in practice as well as requirements and tasks under the authority of the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision, at this session, the Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on many important contents of the province.

In particular, it will consider and give opinions on 17 submissions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the accompanying draft resolutions and the examination reports of the Provincial People's Council Committees to pass 17 resolutions on contents related to socio-economic development. In addition, based on the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee, with the agreement of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council will carry out personnel work under the authority of the Provincial People's Council; participate in giving opinions on the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 21st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The contents and issues considered, discussed and decided at this session are an important legal basis for the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee, promptly responding to tasks and contributing to the goals of economic, social, defense and security development in the province.

With the responsibility of a people's representative to voters, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van requested that the Provincial People's Council delegates promote the spirit of construction, innovation, democracy, and responsibility, participate in contributing many practical ideas, and discuss the contents, in order to help the session consider and make correct and quality decisions on the contents according to the proposed program.
