Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh: Awareness and consciousness of implementing KPI software are shown quite positively.

On the morning of March 21, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee worked with members of the Working Group to deploy a set of tools to measure and evaluate work efficiency (KPI).

According to the report, up to now, the KPI Working Group has developed and applied the tasks of 3 groups in accordance with regulations throughout the province; is reviewing and adjusting the list of tasks of 1 group. The group has organized direct and online training for agencies and units to pilot the second phase; at the same time, conducted separate training for agencies and units in the spirit of "holding hands and showing work". The Department of Science and Technology has received comments from the pilot agencies on the software's functions and promptly reviewed and updated the necessary functions, ensuring stable operation.

The results of deploying the KPI software for 7 agencies and units in the first pilot phase, 100% of users have grasped and performed operations on the software proficiently. For agencies and units in the second pilot phase, 11/12 agencies, units and localities have deployed the use of the system functions as planned (the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has not yet deployed the use). Through the deployment of the KPI software in the past week, some issues have also emerged that need to be further resolved in the coming days.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh praised the efforts of the KPI Working Group as well as the agencies and units implementing the pilot in 2 phases. Thereby, many very positive results have been shown in terms of job positions, work diary, working hours, etc. which are increasingly improved. The awareness, leadership, direction of the heads and the awareness of cadres, civil servants and public employees in agencies and units have also shown quite positive results. However, through the pilot implementation, it also showed some problems regarding the work productivity and working spirit of a number of cadres, civil servants and public employees are not high; the payroll of some agencies and units according to job positions is redundant; there are still agencies and units that have not met the requirements; the technology infrastructure system has shown limitations that need to be upgraded and improved, etc.
