After struggling to overcome the host Philippines on the evening of May 28, Kazakhstan will meet the Vietnamese women's volleyball team again in the final of the AVC Challenge Cup 2024.

The semi-final match 2 of the AVC Challenge Cup 2024 took place with a rather strange scenario. Kazakhstan was stronger and superior but had a very hard time winning.
In the first game, they led 15-5 and it seemed like they would have an easy match. However, perhaps because of the pressure from the Filipino fans in the stands, the Kazakhstan girls kept making mistakes.
The home team played with courage and determination, narrowing the gap significantly to 22-23. Unfortunately for them, Kazakhstan still scored decisive points to win this game with a score of 25-23.
In the morning of game 2, the Philippines played with excitement despite having lost earlier. They were left behind again, but then rose up to chase fiercely. But determination was not enough to make up for the gap in skill level. They were surpassed by Kazakhstan with a score of 25-21.
It wasn't until the third game that things became easier for coach Gilyazutdinov Rishat's team. They had another 25-14 victory to decide the match.
