Huu Lung: Meeting on the implementation of Regulation No. 11 of the Politburo in the first quarter of 2025 - Lang Son Newspaper

- On the morning of March 21, Huu Lung District Party Committee held a meeting to implement Regulation No. 11 dated February 18, 2019 of the Politburo on the responsibility of Party leaders in receiving people, having direct dialogue with people and handling people's reflections and recommendations (Regulation No. 11) in the first quarter of 2025.

According to the report at the conference, in the first quarter of 2025, the Party Committees and People's Committees of communes and towns organized 58 propaganda sessions for more than 2,100 people with the content of disseminating legal regulations on public reception, handling of feedback, recommendations, and resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens.

In the first quarter, no citizens came to make recommendations or complaints to the District Party Secretary (a decrease of 3 compared to the same period), and 1 citizen came to make recommendations or complaints to the commune-level Party Secretary. The People's Committees at the district and commune levels received 19 citizens (a decrease of 25 compared to the same period). Regarding the results of receiving and handling petitions, the Party Committees and Inspection Committees at all levels received 10 petitions, an increase of 8 compared to the same period (2/2 petitions are being handled under their authority); the People's Committees at all levels received 112 petitions, an increase of 31 compared to the same period (76/106 petitions under their authority have been handled, the rest are being considered and handled).

Also in the first quarter, the District People's Committee organized 2 dialogues with people of Ho Son and Hoa Thang communes regarding the implementation of compensation, support and resettlement for the VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project and 1 dialogue with cooking staff in preschools in Huu Lung district to answer questions and make recommendations on salary policies, rewards, allowances, subsidies, and labor contracts.

At the conference, delegates expressed their opinions and reported on the situation of receiving citizens, receiving and resolving a number of petitions and recommendations from people related to land management, site clearance, and recommendations on policies for some contract workers in the area, clarifying the content of the collective petition in Hoa Thang commune; propaganda, mobilization, and guidance on handling and resolving a number of petitions and specific cases in Hoa Lac commune, Minh Tien commune, and Yen Thinh commune.

At the same time, the delegates also agreed on the direction and tasks for the coming time. Accordingly, the District Party Committee continues to direct the dissemination and strict implementation of Regulation No. 11 of the Politburo, the dialogue regulations, the Law on Citizen Reception, the Law on Complaints, the Law on Denunciations and documents guiding the implementation of the law; enhance the role and responsibility of the heads of Party committees and agencies in the work of receiving people and handling petitions; improve the quality of propaganda and mobilization work, create consensus in the implementation of programs and projects in the area. At the same time, innovate and strengthen the supervision of the People's Council, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the work of receiving people and handling petitions; strengthen close contact with the grassroots, listen to and resolve legitimate opinions and aspirations of the people...
