More than 2,000 students from 46 provinces and cities participated in the Final Round of the First Tech Challenge Vietnam (FTC Vietnam) 2023-2024 at FPT University.
FPT University is the host of the Final Round of this prestigious Robotics competition. Thousands of students are divided into 207 teams and compete under the theme "Young generation creates the future".

The organizers require contestants to use some basic equipment that is similar to international standards from the organizers, including: a basic kit of control circuits, motors, sensors, and freely apply knowledge, programming skills, mechanical structures... From there, they need to design a robot product to solve the contest's problem.
Here, the contestants made creative efforts to build unique robots and control the devices through the challenges of the competition. In the final result, the FPT3DN.Robotown team (FPT Da Nang High School) excellently won the FTC Vietnam 2023 - 2024 Championship. Accordingly, the Da Nang student group will represent Vietnam to participate in the "First Champion" Global Final round taking place in the US next April.

"Playgrounds like FTC Vietnam contribute to building a community of young people who love technology, developing a vibrant movement of learning, researching, and practicing science and technology," said a representative of the organizing committee.
Previously, FPT University signed a cooperation agreement with First (USA) to organize a robot competition according to the format and standards of the unit in Vietnam. In addition to the FTC Vietnam 2023-2024 tournament, the school also organized the Open Robotics Challenge (VORC) program online and offline at the Da Nang and Can Tho campuses to support students nationwide to get acquainted with the competition format and experience the latest knowledge and robot technology.

Dr. Nguyen Xuan Phong - Vice President of FPT University said that the organization of the global robotics competition First Tech Challenge aims to build a movement and build a national-scale industry community, thereby promoting awareness of the role and importance of science and technology for the future development of society.
"The school also hopes that this playground will be a place to nurture and create a premise to develop international standard human resources in the field of Robotics for the country," he emphasized.
