Thuan Nam District Farmers' Association: Organizing the 4th Congress, term 2023-2028

On June 6, the Farmers' Association (FA) of Thuan Nam district held its 4th Congress of Delegates for the 2023-2028 term.

Over the past 5 years, the Farmers' Association of Thuan Nam district has always promoted the spirit of creativity, overcoming difficulties, proactively exploiting the potential and strengths of the locality, uniting to compete to complete 9/10 targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 3rd Congress, term 2018-2023. Every year, more than 1,600 Farmers' Association members (FAM) are recognized as "Farmers competing in production, good business, uniting to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty", accounting for more than 50% of the registered number. Consulting and support activities to solve employment problems for FAM have been effectively implemented. From the Farmers' Support Fund, the FAM has implemented 34 models and projects with a total capital of more than 8 billion VND, helping 276 households have conditions to develop production. At the same time, coordinate with the Social Policy Bank to disburse over 79 billion VND to 1,165 customers in 26 loan groups to invest in production and business...

With the theme "Solidarity - Creativity - Integration - Development", in the 2023-2028 term, the Farmers' Association of Thuan Nam district strives for 100% of cadres and members to be informed of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws related to agriculture, farmers, rural areas and directives and resolutions of the Vietnam Farmers' Association; develop at least 1,400 new members; 85% of the association's grassroots units complete and excellently complete their tasks; every year, 60% or more of the households of the Farmers' Association register and 50% or more of the registered households achieve the title of good production and business at all levels. 100% of the association's grassroots units organize for cadres and members to learn effective models and good experiences in labor and production...
