Dai Loc District Women's Union organizes a journey back to the source

The activity aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Nam province (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Dai Loc homeland (March 28, 1975 - March 28, 2025).

At the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Military Region 5 Branch (Da Nang City), cadres and women's union members of Dai Loc district respectfully offered incense to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap.

The delegation also visited the Military Zone 5 Museum, the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Military Zone 5 Branch and the model of Uncle Ho's stilt house. Museum staff shared about the life and journey of President Ho Chi Minh to find a way to save the country; at the same time, introduced the tradition of the Military Zone 5 forces in the fight against French colonialism and American imperialism.

Through the journey back to the source, we gain more pride in the heroic traditions of the nation, in the quintessential values, cultural identity, and fine traditions that our ancestors built, protected, and passed down through many generations.

* The Women's Union of Dai Hong Commune (Dai Loc) has just organized a trip to the red address, visiting the Nuoc Oa relic site (Bac Tra My) - the revolutionary base of zone 5.

The delegation also visited the Military Region 5 Command Relic Site - the secret workplace of generals and key leaders of the Regional Party Committee of Region 5 and the Military Region 5 Command during the resistance war against the US to save the country (1960 - 1975).

On this occasion, the delegation offered incense at the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (VNAH) in Tam Ky City; visited the VNAH Mother Museum - where nearly 300 artifacts out of nearly 1,000 artifacts collected from typical VNAH Mothers representing more than 127,000 VNAH Mothers nationwide are displayed.
