From November 19 to 21, 2024, the Live Presentation Round of Vietnam AI Contest 2024 will take place, gathering the 30 best contestants and teams that passed the qualifying round. This is an opportunity for young contestants to demonstrate their creativity and talent in an international competition.

This year’s jury brings together prestigious experts in the field of artificial intelligence and technology, bringing a multi-dimensional and in-depth perspective to the competition. The jury includes names such as:

Professor Thomas E. Patterson , Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and a member of the Leadership Council of the Michael Dukakis Institute for Leadership and Innovation. Professor Patterson is also a co-founder of the Boston Global Forum. His profound knowledge and experience will inspire and guide young candidates in their journey of AI research.

Prof. David Silbersweig , distinguished professor of psychiatry, renowned scientist at Harvard Medical School. His extensive knowledge in the field of neuroscience will provide candidates with valuable comments on the application of AI in medicine and neuroscience.

Prof. Nazli Choucri is a renowned political scientist from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Boston Global Forum and co-founder of the Global Citizenship Education Network. With her extensive knowledge of global issues, Prof. Choucri will help candidates gain a deeper understanding of the connection between AI and political and social issues.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan is the CEO of the Boston Global Forum, co-founder and Director of the Michael Dukakis Institute for Leadership and Innovation. Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan is also a pioneer in many international initiatives on artificial intelligence and global citizenship education, including the "Initiative for an Artificial Intelligence Society" (AIWS) in collaboration with experts from Harvard and MIT. His presence on the council will help candidates better understand the potential of AI and social responsibility.

In addition, the live round also featured two experts who are heads of technology companies in Silicon Valley.

Dr. John Henry Clippinger - member of the Global Advisory Council of the World Economic Forum, CEO of Context Media LLC - a knowledge management software and services company, and Director of Intellectual Capital, at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), Director of The Law Lab at Berkman Klein Center, Harvard Law School.

Dr. Tom Kehler is currently President, Chief Scientist, and Co-Founder of CrowdSmart, a technology-driven investment firm with a mission to dramatically improve investment outcomes for investors and startups. He previously served on the Information Technology Advisory Council of the U.S. National Research Council.
