Outstanding activities during the online exam period

The online round of Vietnam AI Contest 2024 started on September 9 and ended on October 9. During the opening period, the contest attracted thousands of entries from students passionate about technology and artificial intelligence nationwide. The number of entries this year doubled compared to season 1 - an impressive number reflecting the growing appeal of the contest to young people in Vietnam. This not only shows the strong spread of the contest, but is also a positive sign for the development of artificial intelligence in education.

To promote and encourage young people to participate, the organizing committee visited 9 high schools during the online competition. Among these activities, the dialogue on artificial intelligence at Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted was a highlight. Here, experts from VLAB Innovation shared knowledge, answered students' questions and provided practical perspectives on the development of AI in many fields. This activity not only raised awareness about AI but also encouraged students to accept and approach new technology more confidently.

Impressive results from the online round

Vietnam AI Contest 2024 recorded a new step forward when entries came from 21 provinces and cities across the country, a sharp increase compared to the first season. Ho Chi Minh City is the locality with the largest number of entries, followed by Hanoi. This shows the passion for technology and strong learning spirit of high school students. The entries this time are not only diverse in content but also demonstrate creativity in problem-solving and approach, making the contest more colorful and interesting.

In addition, the quality of the exams was also a highlight in the online round. The exams demonstrated the logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities of the candidates, while highlighting their creativity and desire to conquer new heights in the field of AI.

Live Presentation Round: Opportunity to assert yourself

After the online round, the best contestants will advance to the live presentation round, scheduled to take place from November 19 to 21. This is an important round, not only an opportunity for contestants to demonstrate their research and creativity, but also a place for them to demonstrate their presentation skills, teamwork and critical thinking in front of an international jury.

The jury includes professors and experts from the world's leading universities such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford, ensuring objectivity and high expertise for this round.

The presentation round will be held online via platforms such as Google Meeting or Zoom, allowing contestants from all over the country to easily participate without having to travel. This is also an opportunity for contestants to access the international competition environment and practice their presentation skills in front of leading experts in the field.

The live presentation round will revolve around contestants presenting their ideas and projects in the field of artificial intelligence, answering questions from judges, and receiving feedback to complete the project. These projects do not only stop at solving technological problems but are also highly appreciated if they demonstrate social vision, practical application and community value.
