Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, owner of Thien homestay, Tha village, Phuong Do commune (Ha Giang city) shared: My family is one of 3 households in the Tha village homestay cluster, honored to be one of 5 representatives of Vietnam to receive the ASEAN 2025 homestay award on the evening of January 20, 2025 in Johor city, Malaysia. This is a worthy recognition for my efforts to preserve and develop community tourism in particular and the people of Tha village in general; to continue developing community tourism, I promote services on digital platforms, thereby attracting a large number of tourists to experience the services. In 2024, my homestay welcomed more than 500 tourists, mainly foreign tourists.

Digital solutions have helped raise awareness of cultural values, diversify products, optimize management and strengthen connections between community members.
