(Dan Tri) - On the morning of December 2, the Diplomatic Academy held a ceremony to celebrate its 65th anniversary of establishment and development.
Attending the ceremony were Comrade Bui Thanh Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Comrade Le Hai Binh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine; Comrade Pham Lan Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Council, former Acting Director of the Diplomatic Academy; and generations of leaders, cadres, lecturers, staff, alumni and students of the Diplomatic Academy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son assessed that during 65 years of establishment and development, the Diplomatic Academy has always strived to excellently complete all assigned tasks, becoming the leading scientific research and training institution on international relations in Vietnam, contributing effectively to the country's foreign affairs and international integration.
Based on the achievements, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son pointed out important tasks and specific and synchronous development orientations in the coming time for the Diplomatic Academy, especially in the new development stage of the country - the era of national growth.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Hung Son - Acting Director of the Diplomatic Academy - shared: "The Academy has deeply absorbed and grasped the guidelines and development vision of the Academy that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs has oriented.
The collective of cadres, lecturers, employees and students of the Diplomatic Academy will promote the highest achievements, strive to excel, and successfully complete assigned tasks."
Also at the ceremony, delegates and leaders of the Diplomatic Academy cut the ribbon to inaugurate the school's traditional room.
The Academy's leaders believe that this will be a solid spiritual support to help generations of cadres, lecturers, staff and students of the academy continue to promote their achievements, contributing to the glorious tradition of the school.
