Coach Petrovic led Thanh Hoa Club in the period 2020-2022

Finally, the oncoming car hit the side of the Chevrolet Aveo and stopped.

Immediately afterwards, Kurir verified that the driver of the Mercedes B180 was Mr. Ljupko Petrovic, who led Thanh Hoa Club during the 2020-2022 period.

Mr. Ljupko Petrovic is a legendary former player and coach of former Yugoslavia (present-day Serbia) football.

The 76-year-old strategist helped Red Star Belgrade win the C1 Cup (now the Champions League) in 1991. This is also the only Serbian team to win this prestigious tournament.

The former Thanh Hoa coach is a highly respected name in Europe, having taught famous modern football coaches such as Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.

According to media sources, Mr. Petrovic did not drink alcohol while driving, and neither did the owner of the Chevrolet Aveo.

The posted video shows that, despite going in the wrong direction, Mr. Ljupko Petrovic continued to speed forward.

The coach nicknamed "the old man" tried to lose the police car that was chasing him, causing an accident.

Mr. Petrovic is currently in hospital and the Mercedes B180 he was driving was also badly damaged.
