The building has a main hall of over 7,000 square meters, a dome 56.26 meters high, and an outer diameter of about 360 meters.
The main entrance is designed with inspiration from the image of the god Kim Quy - the god associated with the legend of building Co Loa citadel.

After the main building block was assembled with steel frame structure, machinery and manpower were also mobilized to construct the roadbed.
The project is among the largest exhibition centers in the world; has a super-connected location and convenient transportation; and is expected to be an international destination for leading global trade events and exhibitions.
The National Exhibition and Fair Center has its main entrance facing Truong Sa Street and is expected to be completed in July on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2).
