(Dan Tri) - Coach Ruben Amorim heavily criticized striker Marcus Rashford when he left him out of the squad in Man Utd's 1-0 victory over Fulham in the early morning of January 27 (Vietnam time).
"I'd rather put Jorge Vital (Man Utd's goalkeeping coach) on the bench than use a player who doesn't contribute every day," coach Ruben Amorim said about leaving out striker Marcus Rashford at a press conference after Man Utd's 1-0 victory over Fulham in round 23 of the Premier League.

The England striker has not been in Man Utd's Premier League squad for nearly two months. Amorim said the reason he left Rashford out was because he did not have the attitude of someone who "gives his all every day".
"It's always the same reason: the training, the way I see a footballer should be in life. It's every day, every detail.
If things don't change, I won't change. It's the same with every player, if you do everything right and to the maximum, we can use every player.
You can see on the bench, we lack a bit of speed. But I would rather put Vital on the bench than use a player who doesn't contribute every day," coach Amorim emphasized the reason for leaving Marcus Rashford out.
Amorim's comments on Rashford come after the Man Utd boss admitted his team still have problems scoring goals this season, particularly with the pace and power of their attack.
At Fulham's Craven Cottage, Man Utd had to wait 42 minutes for their first shot on goal after a good chance from centre-back Matthijs de Ligt. Notably, this was the 12th consecutive match in which Man Utd failed to score from open play in the first half of the Premier League.
With Rasmus Hojlund forced off after nearly 60 minutes after a lacklustre display up front and his replacement Joshua Zirkzee only touching the ball eight times in the remaining half-hour, coach Amorim admitted that his forward line still had room for improvement.

Man Utd beat Fulham thanks to Lisandro Martinez's deflected shot. Asked if scoring was a problem for his team, Amorim told TNT Sports : "I think so. Even in the second half, we wanted to change something, but we still lacked pace and power up front.
Not a great game, no great chances. We tried to control the game and play our way but we need to improve a lot."
Coach Amorim also expressed concerns over the future of Alejandro Garnacho, who played in the win over Fulham before being taken off after Man Utd's decisive goal.
Garnacho is a target for Napoli and Chelsea, while Man Utd are likely to sell the player who has grown up in the club's youth academy to raise "pure profit" funds to help them comply with the Profit and Sustainability Rule (PSR).
"Nobody knows. Anything can happen," Amorim said of whether Garnacho could leave before the deadline on February 3.
"He's improving in every aspect of the game, how he helps defensively, his ability to read situations when the opposition are playing defensively.
"I'm trying to find the best position for him, today he played a little more open, not playing in the central position much. We need the boys to play one-on-one but I don't know what will happen about his future at the club," coach Amorim concluded.
