Recently, a fairly reputable source has shared with us some interesting news related to the camera system of the Galaxy Z Fold6 successor model.
The source has not confirmed whether the UDC camera will retain the same 4MP resolution but revealed that its sensor will improve in various ways.
It is known that Samsung has used a 50MP main camera for the Z Fold series since the Galaxy Z Fold4. Therefore, the rumored 200MP sensor of the Z Fold7 will be an impressive upgrade, promising to enhance the mobile photography experience for users.
Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy Z Fold7 is said to be only 4.5mm thick when opened and 9.5mm when folded. This is said to include the camera bump and when excluding this part, the thickness will be closer to 9mm, although the exact number has not been revealed.
Another source claims that the Galaxy Z Fold7 will have an 8-inch inner folding display and a 6.5-inch outer display. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, similar to the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung is likely to release the Galaxy Z Fold7 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7 this summer, possibly next July.
