Samsung Soundbars Suffer Massive Problems After Update

The issue first surfaced last week, when multiple users reported that their HW-Q990D premium soundbars were freezing after a firmware update. The speakers became unresponsive, disconnected from the Samsung SmartThings app, and wouldn't reboot. The HW-Q800D and HW-S801D models were also experiencing the same issue.
The worrying thing is that this problem can’t be fixed with a simple software patch. Instead, these completely damaged soundbars will need a hardware repair to get them working again.
The culprit behind the issue has been identified as firmware update version 1020.7. Many of Samsung's high-end soundbars are set to install automatically, leading to the issue spreading rapidly across many countries.
Samsung recommends that users using its soundbars should turn off the automatic update function immediately to avoid encountering similar problems.
This incident caused a lot of frustration for users, especially those who spent a lot of money to own Samsung's high-end soundbar models.
