On the morning of January 15, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin attended an art performance at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
The program is part of the series of celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Vietnam - Russia diplomatic relations, combining classical and folk music of the two countries, opening a series of cultural events in 2025. 

Speaking at the program, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Russia is a priceless asset, a proud achievement for the journey of 3/4 of a century together to overcome many challenges... It is the friendship of hearts that know how to love and understand, not only in the signed documents and agreements but also deeply engraved in the melodies, songs, and poems imbued with human love. The Minister quoted the Russian proverb "An old friend is better than two new friends" and the Vietnamese saying with cultural tradition "As long as the Earth still rotates, the heart still beats - we are still friends". The Minister praised Russia with its great history, rich culture, rich in identity, and is developing positively in all fields; at the same time, affirmed that Vietnam is proud of its long history, rich culture, and is a safe, friendly, peaceful, hospitable, integrated and developing country.

Vietnamese and Russian music performed by many Vietnamese artists who studied at prestigious music schools in Russia is a vivid demonstration of the special affection and traditional friendship between the two countries. People's Artist Do Quoc Hung, People's Artist Bui Cong Duy, Meritorious Artist Tran Vuong Thach, and Meritorious Artist Le Giang participated in these performances. Looking back at 75 years of establishing diplomatic relations, along with the development of friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership, cultural, sports and tourism cooperation between the two countries has become increasingly close, effective and has made great strides, and people-to-people exchanges have been increasingly strengthened. Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized the role of culture as a “special bridge” connecting Vietnam and the Russian Federation , helping to enhance mutual understanding, deepening the relationship and trust between the two countries. Russian Minister of Culture OB Liubimova expressed her honor to attend the event at the Vietnam National Academy of Music - the country's leading music training institution. She emphasized that education and training always play a key role in the destiny of each person, not only creating conditions for learning about the world around them, but also forming the core of each person's personality. According to her, the Russian Federation's education system offers a rare opportunity to access Russia's rich cultural, artistic, historical and literary heritage - which is an indispensable part of world culture.Artists perform.

The Russian Minister of Culture shared that it was no coincidence that during the State visit to Vietnam in 2024 of Russian President Putin, there was a meeting with graduates of former Soviet universities (now Russia) - people who always have sincere love for Russia and the relationship between the two countries. Educational cooperation between Russia and Vietnam is increasingly expanding. On September 12, 2024, the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory signed a cooperation agreement with the Department of Training, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam. Russia's leading art universities such as the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, Moscow State Institute of Culture and GITIS Russian Academy of Theater Arts will also have similar cooperation agreements.
