Assessing the results achieved at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Education Dinh Cong Sy emphasized that the Vietnamese National Assembly is an active, proactive, and responsible member of the IPU. He was impressed with the opening speech of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, which clearly expressed the message: Vietnam, the Vietnamese National Assembly is an active, proactive, and responsible member participating in common activities of the world, including the activities of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). At the same time, he highly appreciated the role of the Young Parliamentarians Forum, demonstrating the commitment of young parliamentarians around the world to always stand side by side with the IPU in implementing common commitments, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Young National Assembly member Dinh Cong Sy highly appreciated the Party and State of Vietnam for always caring for and creating favorable conditions for young people. He was impressed by the welcoming speech sent to the Conference by President Vo Van Thuong "Youth is the spring of society", the age of "moving mountains and filling seas". Young National Assembly member Dinh Cong Sy believes that, with the awareness of the role of young people, creating favorable conditions to promote the participation of young people in parliament and parliamentary forums, supporting young parliamentarians to maximize their role will be the prerequisites for the Vietnamese National Assembly to demonstrate its commitment and responsibility to the IPU, which is: Further enhancing the participation of global youth in political activities. For the Chairman of the Group of Young National Assembly Deputies of Vietnam Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that the success of the Conference clearly demonstrated the commitment and common desire of young National Assembly Deputies of Vietnam in promoting the role of young people, the young generation who are the ones who hold, enjoy and create science and technology. This is also the pioneering force and is responsible for taking advantage of the development of science and technology, thereby further accelerating the implementation of SDGs by 2030, especially in the current context, some SDGs are likely to be difficult to achieve, even delayed, postponed for many reasons.
Young National Assembly member Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the Vietnamese National Assembly hosting the 9th Global Young Parliamentarians' Conference right before the United Nations Summit on the SDGs (September 18-19, 2023) clearly demonstrates the actions of parliaments around the world in promoting the role of parliamentarians in general, including young parliamentarians, in implementing the SDGs of the IPU and the United Nations. From here, young Vietnamese National Assembly members are also clearly aware of their roles and responsibilities in perfecting and implementing policies to join the Vietnamese National Assembly in fulfilling the agreed commitments on implementing the sustainable development goals with the IPU, especially in the context of implementing the SDGs through digital transformation and innovation.

From another perspective, National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Thi Hue, from Bac Kan, said that this Global Young Parliamentarians' Conference was truly a valuable opportunity for young Vietnamese parliamentarians to exchange legislative experiences in the digital transformation process, bringing practical benefits to the people, contributing to promoting socio-economic development. The Conference made specific recommendations from the perspective of young people and broadened the approach of young people to issues of common concern. This also shows that the role of young people in general and young parliamentarians in particular is increasingly being promoted, aiming to maximize the innovative and creative thinking of young people themselves. With the experience learned from young parliamentarians of other countries at the Conference, it helped young delegates have more information and a more comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation that many countries face, thereby participating in perfecting the legal framework for digital transformation in Vietnam.
National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Thi Hue said that Vietnam is facing the challenge of the "digital gap" between the plains and the mountains, rural and urban areas; on the other hand, it also has a great opportunity to access the advances of digital transformation in the world. If we can promote the role of young people in implementing the SDGs through digital transformation and innovation, as the theme of the Conference suggests, we will create more new opportunities for the country's rapid and sustainable development.
