Bars and nightclubs are often whispered about as "ideal places" to "hunt" for fleeting love affairs in the hidden corners of students. A few gestures, sometimes just a glance, are immediately picked up and only those involved can understand.

Discover the hidden corners of Ho Chi Minh City students through all-night fun at discos and bars like Bui Vien (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). This is where young people like Huyen (name changed) come to relieve their boredom and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere.
The landing place for all-night parties is nowhere else but hotels and motels, then waking up in the morning and going home "as if the meeting had never happened". And many students are just prey for the "hunters" here.

The hidden corner of students in the world of nightclubs: Eye-catching signals
Thang (34 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) openly said that he went to nightclubs just to find a sexual partner. As if to prove his words, last weekend Thang went to a bar on Bui Vien walking street (District 1). Unlike the closed-door nightclubs, the bar on Pho Tay (another familiar name for Bui Vien walking street) is half-open, half-closed.
"This row of seats outside is open, you have to go inside to get more seats and girls", Thang said as if shouting into the ear of the person with him.
Thang shared his experience that to get into the party early, one must be "numb" enough, which means drinking strong alcohol first. Beer is just to "quench thirst", and it is also a way to communicate and send signals to each other in a space that is too noisy to say much. When one is a little tipsy, eyes are drowsy after inhaling laughing gas, and one cannot sit still anymore, that is when Thang begins his "hunt".
It wasn't easy, but after walking around, Thang pulled up a chair and sat down at a table full of female guests. I don't know what they were saying in the chaos of voices, but in a flash, Thang's arm was around a girl's waist. They almost got up and left after a few smiles. Thang left the person who was accompanying him behind, not even bothering to wave goodbye.
It was only around noon that he "came to his senses" and did not forget to show off his "achievements": "It's the same everywhere, I paid the entire bill for that table which was over a million but got what I needed. As long as both sides are happy, that's ok."
It turned out that after the passionate moments, they went their separate ways. Thang even left that night after paying for the hotel. The love affair was so quick that it surprised everyone because everything was so quick and easy. Simply, both of them were satisfied with that moment under the stimulation of strong alcohol, laughing gas, shisha... that was enough.
The end of "hunting" nightclub boys
Thang's "first move" was to go to a Western street bar, where there was beer and laughing gas on the table before he wanted to go to another table with the girls. One time, there was a girl sitting alone at the table. Huyen introduced herself as an economics student at a university in Ho Chi Minh City. The girl was young and attractive in a strapless, above-the-knee dress. Huyen said it was not often, even though the first time she went to a bar was more than a year ago.
That was the time when the girl was heartbroken and sad and wanted to find a place to relieve her sadness. Then, without knowing when, Huyen started liking the crowded and noisy space of this place. The girl said that every time she went to the bar, she would drink about five bottles of beer, "bite" at least 10 laughing gas balloons and usually just sit alone.
The strange guy saw the girl sitting alone, so he came over and offered her a bottle of beer, a soccer ball, and all sorts of other things. As for what happened next, Huyen was already familiar with it since she started going to bars. Politely, the girl pulled out a chair and invited the new acquaintance to sit with her, but didn't forget to say, "I can read your mind."
Because she was addicted to the atmosphere of bars, there were times when she had no money, Huyen still went even though she knew that nothing in the bar was cheap. The cheapest bottle of beer cost a hundred thousand, a plate of French fries costing a few hundred was a common thing. A laughing gas balloon was almost two hundred.
No money in your pocket and you still dare to come in? Finding the question funny, Huyen pointed at herself with pride: "I'm beautiful!". With the music beating like a punch to her chest, Huyen suddenly told that she had been a victim of a "love hunter" in a bar not long ago.
That time, like many other times, Huyen went to the bar alone to drink to relieve her sadness. After sitting for a while, a man came over to the table and started a conversation. The two invited each other to have a beer, took a few puffs of shisha, and then the girl suddenly passed out without realizing it.
Huyền said she only remembered someone helping her walk, everything else was just a vague feeling, a vague feeling, but she knew she had fallen into a trap since that time. "Even though everything is still not very clear to me, to me it is still a stain that I have committed and will probably torment me for the rest of my life," Huyền said bitterly. (to be continued)
"Hunters" also sometimes become "prey"
Thang said that the trick of inviting his prey to beer was repeated over and over again, no matter which club or bar he went to. Although he was a hunter, there was a time when he became the "prey". That was when he thought everything was going well, Thang discovered that his "lover" in front of him was a man disguised as a woman. "That time, I couldn't pull up my pants and run away in time", Thang laughed out loud.
Another time Thang got a "prey" that he liked, the girl took the initiative to show her student card. They both drank and agreed to "go all the way". Thang also spent more than 4 million VND on the dinner table that night, only going to the hotel. The girl said to wait a moment to go to the bathroom and then quietly left. After waiting for a long time without seeing any sign of her, knowing he had met a bad guy, Thang left, losing interest and running out of money to continue hunting.
