GROW UP QUIETLY

In case Myanmar draws with India, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team will be forced to get points against Saudi Arabia.

The atmosphere of the Vietnamese Olympic team has become more subdued after the loss to Iran. After favorable results such as winning the Southeast Asian U.23 Championship and winning a ticket to the 2024 Asian U.23 Championship, our young men suffered a heavy defeat against a big opponent. Entering big tournaments, every little detail is extremely important and no one is allowed to be subjective or careless. That is a big lesson for each of us," a player shared.
I WILL NOT GIVE UP
On the evening of September 22, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong and Director of the Department of Physical Training and Sports and Head of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at ASIAD Dang Ha Viet came to encourage the Vietnamese Olympic team. The timely attention helped many players feel warm and practice enthusiastically despite the drizzle in Jiangnan. On the opening ceremony day of September 23, the Vietnamese Olympic team had their first morning practice session at ASIAD 19 with the spirit and excitement returning, expressed through smiles.
Coach Hoang Anh Tuan expressed: "I hope to go further with my students at ASIAD 19 not for the sake of achievements but for the very young players of the Vietnamese Olympic team to gain more experience and improve their skills. This is also our main goal when participating in ASIAD with a force mainly of U.20 players. I told the whole team that the team's mission is to focus on playing well, trying our best so that no matter what the result is, we will have no regrets later."

Practice in the rain
The Vietnamese Olympic team will be without Manh Dung due to an eye injury, and central defender Duc Anh is suspended. Tuan Tai has returned to training but his chances of playing are quite small. Nam Hai was sent onto the field by Mr. Tuan in the match against Iran to get some experience in preparation for the match against Saudi Arabia.
