(NADS) - On the evening of March 15, at the Startup Room of the Hai Chau District Sports and Culture Center, Da Nang, a meeting was held to share ideas for establishing a Photography and Application Cooperative. The event attracted many photographers, businesses and young people interested in the field of photography.
Aiming at a creative, professional and sustainable photography community, the meeting aims to discuss the preservation and promotion of cultural values, nature and Vietnamese people through photography. At the same time, the program also emphasizes training and entrepreneurship in the photography industry.
Here, the reporters shared about the trends and current state of the photography industry. The global photography industry is growing strongly, becoming a large industry with many applications in media, advertising, fashion and digital content creation.
Some prominent trends include: AI applications in photography help optimize light and quickly edit photos; commercial photography is growing strongly, attracting investment from businesses; NFT trends help photographers digitize and trade images via blockchain...
In Vietnam, the photography industry is on the rise but still faces many challenges, including product pricing, copyright protection, and unclear career opportunities.
If established, the Photography and Application Cooperative will focus on the following goals: Building a professional photography community, supporting photographers to legalize their activities; developing a training and career guidance system in the field of photography; building a digital photo repository to protect copyright and create a sustainable source of income; promoting cooperation with businesses, media and tourism organizations, applying AI, VR/AR technology to commercial and artistic photography, etc.
The meeting opened up many opportunities for cooperation and development of the photography cooperative model in the future. This is not only a platform to support photographers but also contributes to promoting and preserving Vietnamese cultural values through the art of photography.
