Can Tho organizes the 72nd Anniversary of Vietnam Photography Tradition Day

(NADS) - On the morning of March 15, 2025, at the Hall of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Can Tho City, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists of Can Tho City held the 72nd Anniversary Ceremony of Vietnam Photography Tradition Day.

During the meeting, members reviewed the tradition of Vietnam Photography Day, and evaluated the creative achievements and artistic activities that have been achieved, thereby building a common development direction for the next stage. This is also an opportunity for members to meet, exchange, share experiences, and create cohesion in the creative community. With a high sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and passion, the NSNA continue to contribute valuable works, contributing to promoting the image of the people and land of Can Tho.

Ms. Hua Thi Anh Dao, Permanent Vice President of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Can Tho City and Artist To Hoang Vu, President of the Art Photography Association of Can Tho City presented the Certificate of Merit of the Vietnam Association of Artists to the Association.

Over the years, Can Tho photography has made its mark with many outstanding achievements and prestigious awards at the national and international levels. Photographers have constantly improved their professional skills, improved their creative level and fulfilled their political tasks well, contributing to the overall success of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

At the ceremony, the Can Tho City Branch of the Vietnam Association of Photographers honored outstanding individuals and groups. The decision to award Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Association of Photographers was announced to 03 photographers and the Branch. In addition, photographer Do Tung received the Bronze Medal of the 2024 Outstanding Photography Award, marking another proud achievement for Can Tho photography.
