Miss Cosmo Vietnam - Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 has been approved by the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province to organize. The contest will take place in 5 provinces and cities, including: Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Long An, Bac Lieu. The final round is scheduled to take place from June 7 to 21 in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province. Contestants will participate in a series of activities: Sea Festival, Sea Beauty, Costume Carnival, Jury Session.
After 17 years of development with 6 seasons, the contest has changed a lot. At the announcement ceremony, Miss Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau - National Director of the contest, informed about this year's new points.
Specifically, Ngoc Chau announced and implemented the copyright system for the Miss Universe Vietnam - Miss Cosmo Vietnam contest at the provincial and municipal levels. This is the first time that the management and development rights of the contest have been exclusively granted to directors in provinces and cities. They play a key role in selecting quality contestants from the locality.
A special highlight is the Carnival Costume show taking place in Nha Trang City combined with a street parade. This year's season also has a new feature which is expanding the age range of contestants, from 18 to 33 years old.
In the coming time, after the preliminary round, the organizing committee will select 45 candidates to participate in the Cosmo Camp practical training series at Tri Nguyen Island (Khanh Hoa province). The semi-final round of the competition will be renamed Jurry Session (Jury Evaluation/ Assessment Round).
The organizers still chose the top 2 finalists. The beauty queen received the crown, a cash prize of 300 million VND, and competed in Miss Cosmo 2025. The runner-up received a cash prize of 150 million VND.
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded additional titles and awards: Ao Dai Beauty, Sea Beauty, Courageous Beauty, Photo Beauty, Sports Beauty, Talented Beauty, Fashion Beauty, Most Favorite Beauty (voted by the audience), Media Beauty, Friendly Beauty.
Recently, Miss Cosmo (International Beauty Games) has been noticed by information implying that Miss Cosmo copied another international beauty contest, such as inviting the former president and previous beauty queens from that playground to be judges.
Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang, Head of the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee, affirmed that Miss Cosmo is the original made by Vietnamese people, from the organization method, message, symbol, stage, activities...
“Copying is impossible. All units have the right to create their own playground, which is very fair. When creating different values, receiving support from the public, partners, creating long-term, sustainable influence... then the contest will have a position. The organizing committee still maintains the view that it will invite beauty queens from other contests to be judges. Because rising above the competition of organizing units is the ideal of the contest. We value our own beauty queens and runners-up, but do not underestimate the titles of other organizations,” said the head of the organizing committee of Miss Cosmo.
