Joy came to Vu Thi Hoa (Vietnam women's team) and Ha Thi Linh (boxing), when two excellent athletes of Vietnam sports at SEA Games 32 were awarded 100 million VND by Metfone (Viettel Cambodia).
Athlete Ha Thi Linh, who just won a gold medal in boxing, also received a gift. The Tay ethnic girl helped Vietnamese boxing quench its thirst for gold and fulfill its target by bringing home the second gold medal on the final day of competition.
"The boxer from the Philippines is very strong, with a height equivalent to 1m70 like me, so it was not easy to overcome this opponent. Before that, I was under a lot of psychological pressure because my teammate, world runner-up Nguyen Thi Tam, was supposed to win the gold medal for the team. Unfortunately, Tam was injured, so the coach and teammates put their trust in me.

His encouragement was very sincere and true to my difficult situation, when my husband had to take care of 2 children while I trained and competed far from home," the boxer from Lao Cai shared.
Vu Thi Hoa was voted the best young player in the country in 2022. In 2023, Vu Thi Hoa was called up to the national team to compete in the first qualifying round of the 2024 Paris Olympics in Nepal and to participate in the 32nd SEA Games, playing as a striker.
In 2018, Vu Thi Hoa's biological father passed away in a work accident, and her mother was in poor health and could only do light labor. Vu Thi Hoa had to raise three younger siblings with her mother. With all her salary and bonuses, the Vietnamese female player had to help her mother take care of her siblings' food and education.
In the team, Vu Thi Hoa always practices hard, especially being highly appreciated by coach Mai Duc Chung for her expertise. At the 32nd SEA Games, the female player of Hanoi Club I played with great effort. For Vu Thi Hoa, this is a reward for her to continue trying and contributing to the Vietnamese women's team.
