Domestic pepper prices updated on the afternoon of March 20, 2025

Experts predict that in the short term, domestic pepper prices may continue to decrease slightly due to pressure from increased local supply during the harvest season.

In the international market, pepper prices are expected to maintain an upward trend due to high demand and limited supply.

According to the general assessment, global pepper output this year is forecast to decrease due to dry weather in major pepper growing areas. Major importing countries such as the US and Europe continue to increase orders, especially in the context of strong consumer demand after the pandemic. The stable USD after the Fed's decision to keep interest rates unchanged has created favorable conditions for export activities, but other economic factors still put pressure on pepper prices.
