The National U.19 Women's Football Championship - ACECOOK Cup 2024 has 6 participating teams: Hanoi, Phong Phu Ha Nam, Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Nguyen T&T, Son La and Zantino Vinh Phuc. In particular, the appearance of Zantino Vinh Phuc brings a fresh look and promises to be an unknown factor of this year's tournament. The teams compete in a round-robin of two home and away matches to calculate the final ranking points, the team with the highest total score after all matches will be the champion. The tournament will take place from September 18, 2024 to October 19, 2024 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (first leg) and Ha Nam Stadium (second leg).
The tournament opens on the afternoon of September 18.
In their first time participating in the tournament, Zantino Vinh Phuc had to face the traditional team Ho Chi Minh City. Being considered weaker, it was not difficult to understand why coach Tran Cong Thanh and his team had to play defensively. In the second half, U.19 Ho Chi Minh City continued to maintain pressure, causing U.19 Zantino Vinh Phuc to face many difficulties. Despite lacking experience, the U.19 Zantino Vinh Phuc players were enthusiastic and determined. They still maintained an advantageous position against the team that was rated higher.
However, when many people thought about a historic point for coach Tran Cong Thanh and his team, they could not keep this result. In the 90+2 minute, from a free kick on the left wing, Huynh Thi Kim Hoa rushed in and finished close to the goal, opening the score for U.19 TP.HCM.
