The exhibition, taking place from March 22nd to 29th, is an opportunity for Dang Thanh Huyen to showcase 50 oil and silk paintings, exploring themes of nature and family. According to the artist, this is a journey to rediscover simple, everyday moments, and also a chance for her to tell her own story.
Featuring 50 paintings, mostly large-scale portraits, the exhibition marks a more mature stage in the artist's career.
Dang Thanh Huyen was born in 1984 in Hanoi into a family with no artistic tradition. She became acquainted with painting at the age of 5-6, graduated from the Vietnam University of Industrial Fine Arts in 2008, and received her master's degree in 2014. In the last five years, the female artist has made her mark with exhibitions such as " The Colors of Hanoi " (2019) and "Children Drawing Dreams" (2024). Her paintings do not stop at depicting forms, but delve into the moods, emotions, or stories behind the characters.

She said that throughout her work, she doesn't let negative opinions, biases, or doubts influence her. "I believe that time and the artwork are the most convincing answers. If an artist lacks talent and dedication, can they go far in art? A painting cannot become beautiful simply because of the artist's appearance, nor can it endure if it relies solely on connections," she emphasized.
The exhibition's owner stated: "I don't deny that selling paintings is part of an artist's job, but that has never been my main goal when holding exhibitions. For me, painting is about sharing, a way for me to express my thoughts and feelings through art."

Dang Thanh Huyen said that in life, she strives to balance her roles as an artist and a businesswoman. When creating art, she allows herself to be imaginative and listen to her emotions to connect with viewers. However, in business, Dang Thanh Huyen chooses to be level-headed and practical.
Besides her artistic activities, Dang Thanh Huyen is also a businesswoman with a happy family life with her husband and three children. She added that her husband understands and appreciates art. His emotional support is the most valuable "backing" she has.
"If you ask me if I have a wealthy benefactor, the answer is yes, but in a different way. I am financially independent, I have my own business, but what I cherish most is my husband's support. He is a companion not only in material terms but also in spirit, helping me to paint what I truly want, to paint according to my emotions, according to the stories I want to tell," the female artist said.
