Provincial People's Committee meets to agree on plan to organize activities to celebrate major holidays

- On the afternoon of March 20, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung chaired a meeting to review and agree on the draft plan to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Also attending were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of An Giang Province Tran Thi Thanh Huong and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, representatives of the departments and branches focused on discussing, contributing opinions and recommendations on the contents related to the two draft plans approved at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to urgently complete the plan of the Provincial People's Committee to submit and seek opinions from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to organize commemorative activities. Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung directed departments, branches and localities to coordinate closely and proactively prepare thoughtful activities.
