"The fact that the delegation of the Indian billionaire chose to visit Trang An for sightseeing and tourism is a great opportunity for Ninh Binh to promote the world heritage and promote the destination to the Indian tourist market" - Mr. Manh shared. According to Mr. Manh, with experience in receiving large groups of tourists, after receiving documents from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Vietravel Company, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism coordinated and discussed work tasks with relevant departments, branches and businesses to prepare the best conditions to welcome the group. Accordingly, specific plans have been proposed such as: dividing lanes, arranging wharfs, priority boats and separate ticket control personnel for the group of tourists, assigning English-speaking tour guides to introduce tourist attractions to tourists, preparing banners to welcome the group of tourists at Trang An Eco-tourism Area... In 2024, Ninh Binh will have a tour in the top 25 most attractive tourist experiences in the world announced by Tripadvisor. As a province with many special natural landscapes, rich cultural and historical heritages, Ninh Binh is famous for domestic and international tourists. In the first 6 months of 2024, the number of visitors to the province is estimated at more than 6.2 million, an increase of nearly 39% over the same period last year and reaching nearly 84% of the annual plan. Tourism revenue in the first 6 months is estimated at nearly 6,000 billion VND, more than 1.5 times higher than the same period last year, reaching 72% of the annual plan. Ninh Binh aims to become a centrally-run city by 2035 with the characteristics of "Millennium Heritage City, Creative City", taking Trang An Heritage as the center.
