On March 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center issued a decision to suspend driver Diep Thanh Tung, who was driving bus route 57 (Phuoc Binh market - Hiep Binh High School) for his careless behavior while driving, causing a female student to almost have an accident.

Accordingly, at around 4:30 p.m. on March 7, driver Tung was driving a bus on Kha Van Can Street, arriving at 1004 Kha Van Can, Hiep Binh Chanh Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, when a female student wearing a backpack got off the bus.
Due to not paying attention, driver Tung pressed the button to close the car door, causing the female student's backpack to get stuck and she was dragged a distance. Driver Tung quickly discovered the incident, stopped the vehicle and got out to check. The above clip was recorded by a camera on the road and posted on social media.
After receiving the information, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center coordinated with the bus operator to verify and clarify. It was determined that driver Tung was driving the vehicle but was careless and did not observe carefully when picking up and dropping off passengers, leading to a dangerous incident. Accordingly, the center issued a decision to suspend driver Tung from work from March 22.
