Digiworld Joint Stock Company (Digiworld - stock code: DGW) has just issued an official dispatch explaining that its after-tax profit in the fourth quarter of 2024 increased by 200% compared to the same period last year.
Huge profits from core business
According to Digiworld's explanation, in the fourth quarter of 2024, the company's total revenue reached VND 5,381 billion, an increase of 22% over the same period; profit after tax reached VND 140 billion, an increase of 200% over the same period in 2023. This growth comes from Digiworld's core business activities.

Specifically, the laptop and tablet segment increased by 7% over the same period. Although the demand for laptops decreased somewhat after the peak consumption period in Q3/2024, causing the market to cool down in Q4/2024, thanks to the additional contribution from two new computer brands, MSI and Gigabyte, Digiworld's revenue and profit still maintained a stable growth rate.
In the mobile phone business, revenue increased by 22% YoY thanks to the revenue contribution of new phone products from Xiaomi and Apple such as Mi 14T, Mi Note 14, Redmi 14C and Iphone 16. Moreover, Xiaomi's increased market share also contributed significantly to revenue growth in Q4/2024.
In the office equipment segment, Digiworld's revenue grew 14% year-on-year, mainly thanks to the revenue contribution of PC Client products and IoT devices including desktops, monitors, servers, printers, smart watches, and headphones.
In particular, revenue from the home appliance business increased by 51% year-on-year thanks to the fourth quarter being the peak season for home appliance consumption, with consumers stepping up shopping for the Lunar New Year season and the additional revenue contribution from Philips home appliance products.
With such results, in 2024, the parent company's total revenue will reach VND 20,653 billion, an increase of 17% compared to 2023; after-tax profit for the whole year will reach VND 442 billion, an increase of 30% compared to 2023.
Establishment of a subsidiary worth 400 billion VND
In mid-January 2025, Digiworld announced a Board of Directors resolution on restructuring the system by separating subsidiaries and establishing a new legal entity.
Specifically, Digiworld Venture Company Limited, a 100% owned entity by Digiworld, will be split into two companies. According to the plan, a portion of the charter capital, along with related assets, rights and obligations, will be transferred to form Nexra Capital Company Limited. Nexra Capital will start with a charter capital of over VND390 billion and will continue to be 100% owned by Digiworld.
With the new move, Digiworld will have up to 9 subsidiaries, specifically: Digiworld Venture, Digiworld Technology, DPHARMA, B2X Vietnam Group, Bellvina, Achison, Money Holding, CL and Digiworld Venture.
In the coming time, Digiworld will promote the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) group, a field with great potential because the company's current scale in this field is still modest. Digiworld will focus on the middle and high-income customer group - a group that is growing steadily and promises great potential.
In addition, the company will continue its M&A strategy and does not rule out the possibility of developing exclusive products. Digiworld focuses on M&A deals that are in line with its long-term strategy, instead of purely financial investments.
