The 10th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in Lang Son Province: Commending and rewarding 159 outstanding collectives and individuals

- On March 21, the Provincial Youth Union organized the 10th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in Lang Son province in 2025. Attending the congress were comrades: Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council ; Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Standing Committee. Provincial Party Committee , Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee ; Nguyen Hoang Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee ; representatives of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial Youth Union Council through the periods and 142 outstanding children's delegates representing more than 165,000 team members, teenagers and children in the province.

During the 2020-2025 term, the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement in the province has had many positive and comprehensive changes, achieving outstanding results, contributing significantly to the cause of educating the younger generation. The Provincial Young Pioneers Council has widely deployed the movement "Lang Son Children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings", creating an environment to practice ethics, lifestyle, improve the quality of study, and foster life skills for team members. Many models and movements such as: "Small Plan", "Thousands of Good Deeds", "For Dear Younger Brothers" ... continue to be maintained and spread strongly throughout the province.

Over the past 5 years, the province has mobilized social resources to build over 420 playgrounds and training grounds for children; supported over 61,000 disadvantaged students; effectively implemented youth projects such as: "Red Scarf House", "Library for Children", "Beautiful School for Children" with a total mobilized budget of over 12 billion VND. Traditional education activities, life skills, creative experiences are also focused on through the model "Journey to red addresses", "Creative experience recess", live and online forums, attracting over 355,000 children to participate.

Entering the period of 2025 - 2030, the Provincial Youth Union Council focuses on promoting the movement "Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" to build a generation of team members with patriotism, morality, courage and aspiration to rise up. Along with that, focusing on improving the quality of team members, strengthening life skills education, social practice skills for children, meeting the requirements of comprehensive development in the new situation; continuing to pay attention to implementing practical works and tasks for children, prioritizing support for children in difficult circumstances; promoting the development of models of "Children's Council", "Children's Consulting and Support Club" to ensure children's right to participate in issues related to children...

Comrade Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, gave a speech directing the congress.

Speaking at the congress, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and commended the efforts and achievements that children and the Young Pioneers in the province have achieved in the past time. He emphasized that in the new context, Party committees, authorities, Youth Union and Young Pioneers need to continue to pay more attention and care for the cause of protecting, caring for and educating children; build a strong Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers organization in both organization and operation; focus on training and improving skills and expertise for the team in charge of the Team; strengthen socialization and mobilize resources to support children in special circumstances and children from families with preferential policies to excel in their studies and training.

He hoped that the young pioneers, teenagers and children would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, studiousness, creativity, actively practice morality, manners and life skills, be worthy of being good children, good students, good grandchildren of Uncle Ho, and be future masters with intelligence, bravery and deep patriotism, contributing to the development of Lang Son homeland.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of the Central Council of Young Pioneers commended and rewarded outstanding young pioneers at the congress.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to outstanding collectives and individuals.

The Congress commended and rewarded 159 collectives and individuals, of which 7 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement in the period of 2020 - 2025 received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 142 outstanding Uncle Ho's Good Children delegates were commended and rewarded by the Provincial Young Pioneers Council .

The congress also passed a resolution letter, expressing the aspirations, will, determination to practice, study and strive of the team members, teenagers and children in the whole province .
