Foreign Trade University has just announced the methods of regular university admission in 2024. Accordingly, the total enrollment target for regular university of Foreign Trade University in 2024 is expected to be 4,130.
In 2024, Foreign Trade University plans to enroll new majors such as Computer Science, Computer Science and Data Science program in economics and business.

Regarding admission methods, the school will maintain the same regular university admission methods as in 2023.
Specifically, method 1: Admission method based on high school academic results for candidates participating in/winning prizes in the national excellent student competition or the national Science and Technology competition, winning prizes (First, Second, Third) in provincial/city excellent students in grade 11 or grade 12, and candidates in the specialized system of national key high schools/specialized high schools.
Time for registration of wishes is expected from May 20 to 5:00 p.m. on May 30. Method 1 applies to standard programs and international career orientation and development programs.
Method 2: Admission method combining international language certificates and high school academic results/international competency certificates for specialized and non-specialized candidates of high schools.

Method 3: Admission method combining international language certificates and high school graduation exam results in 2024. Method 4: Admission method based on the results of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam according to the school's admission subject combinations. Admission registration time is according to the admission plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, applicable to standard programs.
Method 5: Admission method based on the results of the Competency Assessment exams organized by Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024. The expected registration time is from May 20 to 5:00 p.m. on May 30, applicable to standard programs.
Method 6: Direct admission method. The expected application submission date is June, according to the admission plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, applicable to standard programs.
In addition, the school also conducts special admissions for the International Political Economy International Development Orientation Program. Accordingly, each province and centrally-run city proposes a maximum of 5 candidates (including specialized and non-specialized candidates). The expected registration time is from May 6 to before 5:00 p.m. on May 30.
