Former world runner-up wins "3-cushion Billiard Carom Super Tournament" in Binh Thuan

Previously in the semi-finals that took place at noon the same day, Anh Chien defeated Nguyen Nhat Hoa with a score of 50-34 after 37 innings, while Minh Kiet defeated Nguyen Nhu Le with a score of 50-33 after 32 innings.

Entering the final match, after the first few rounds of the match, Anh Chien had a series of fairly even scoring, including a 5-point shot to temporarily lead 27-12 after the first round. In the second round, while Minh Kiet had difficulty with bad shots, Anh Chien continued to take advantage of the opportunities to score points, gradually widening the gap before winning the final match with a score of 50-26 after 36 rounds.

Mr. Chien deservedly won the championship.

This result helped Anh Chien win the championship with 20 million VND in prize money, along with a trophy, flag and a MIK cue worth 27 million VND. As the runner-up, Doan Minh Kiet received 10 million VND, a flag and a million carbon cue worth 19 million VND.

The two players Nguyen Nhat Hoa and Nguyen Nhu Le tied for third place, receiving 5 million VND. Nguyen Nhat Hoa won the “Best Game” prize worth 5 million VND. Player Nguyen Dinh Chung won the “Excellent Series” prize with a Hello scorecard worth 11 million VND thanks to his 14-point cue. In addition, players ranked 5-8 received 1 million VND from Meron Fashion Company. Players ranked 9-16 received 500,000 VND from The Gioi Bida Company.

Thus, after 4 days of exciting competition and many surprises, the 2023 MVT Cup 3-Cushion Carom Billiard Tournament taking place from October 5 to 8 at Ma Van Tai Billiards Club (MVT Billiards, No. 9-11 Trung Nhi (Duc Nghia Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province) ended successfully.

The tournament has contributed to creating a useful playground, creating conditions for players in Binh Thuan province to have the opportunity to compete, exchange and rub shoulders with the top players in Vietnam, thereby gradually developing the Billiards movement in the whole province.
