Hong Linh Town Police (Ha Tinh) has just issued a decision to prosecute Phan Cong Hien (born 1989, residing in Thanh Binh Thinh Commune, Duc Tho District) for the crime of "Robbery".

Previously, on May 4, 2023, Ms. NTHT (residing in Bac Hong ward, Hong Linh town) was participating in traffic on Nguyen Ai Quoc street in TDP 10, Bac Hong ward (Hong Linh town) when suddenly a strange male subject driving a motorbike overtook her from behind and used his hand to snatch the gold necklace worth about 40 million VND that she was wearing around her neck.

Hong Linh Town Police Investigation Agency took Phan Cong Hien's statement.

After a period of collecting documents and evidence, Hong Linh Town Police investigated and clarified that Phan Cong Hien (born 1989) was the perpetrator.

After committing the robbery, Hien went into hiding in the southern provinces.

On May 10, 2023, Hong Linh Town Police coordinated with professional units to discover Phan Cong Hien hiding in Ben Cat Town, Binh Duong Province.

The authorities arrested Hien, temporarily seized a motorbike and a number of other related objects and assets.

The investigation determined that Phan Cong Hien had a history of debt, so he moved to the southern provinces to live. While returning to his hometown, the subject had the intention of snatching Ms. NTHT's gold necklace.

The case is being continued to be handled by Hong Linh Town Police according to the law.
