Talking about the little student, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Viet Uyen's homeroom teacher, excitedly said: "Uyen is always diligent and proactive in studying. Outside of school hours, she actively participates in school activities, especially art competitions, participating in sports movements such as badminton, athletics... Viet Uyen's proud achievements in the 2024 - 2025 school year include: Second prize in city-level athletics and badminton; Second prize in school-level art competition. Not only that, she is also an emotional person, always loving, sharing and willing to help friends around her".

Recently, at the launching ceremony of the Peak Day of “Youth Volunteers to Build Urban Civilization” in Sa Dec City, Viet Uyen moved and impressed everyone when she presented a symbolic plaque of 60 million VND, the result of many years of saving and scrimping to support “House of Charity” for the family of Ly Thien Duc - a student at Tan Khanh Dong Secondary School, a poor household facing housing difficulties.

Viet Uyen shared: “Since I was young, I have set a goal of saving lucky money, academic rewards, and prizes I won from art and sports competitions. I have saved for many years, planning to save for my future studies. Through the school movement, I learned about the difficult circumstances of some friends, so I asked my parents to let me contribute all my savings (60 million VND) to build a “House of Charity” for poor students.”

When asked what she hoped for after that act, Uyen gently said: "I just hope you have a safe place to live and can study in peace..."

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Uyen's homeroom teacher, said that whenever she was assigned any task, Uyen always completed it meticulously and responsibly. She was always a pioneer in class and school activities. She had a very positive lifestyle and was full of compassion. Viet Uyen was the pride not only of the class but also of the whole school.

Viet Uyen expressed her thoughts: “At first, I only thought of giving this money to someone in difficult circumstances. When I met Ly Thien Duc, I was extremely moved. I felt happy and joyful to contribute to building a loving home so that Duc could reduce his difficulties in life and study with peace of mind.”

In the modern life with many choices, Viet Uyen has chosen to live honestly and kindly. She is like a lotus flower in everyday life, not ostentatious but quietly spreading fragrance. Her work is not only to share but also to sow seeds of love, to contribute and to spread kindness, even the smallest things.
