Bien Hoa and Long Khanh cities and Tan Phu and Cam My districts have been rearranged and adjusted to reduce 11 commune-level administrative units.
On the morning of October 22, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province held a ceremony to announce the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Dong Nai province for the period 2023-2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said: The province has 4 commune-level administrative units subject to rearrangement in 4 localities including: Tan Phu, Vinh Cuu, Bien Hoa, Long Khanh. After the rearrangement, Dong Nai province reduced 11 commune-level administrative units, from 170 units to 159 units.

According to the resolution, the localities with administrative units rearranged in communes are Bien Hoa city, Long Khanh city, Vinh Cuu district, and Cam My district.
After the arrangement, Bien Hoa City has 25 commune-level administrative units, including 24 wards and 1 commune; Long Khanh City has 13 commune-level administrative units, including 9 wards and 4 communes; Tan Phu District has 16 commune-level administrative units, including 15 communes and 1 town; and Vinh Cuu District has 10 commune-level administrative units, including 9 communes and 1 town.
At the ceremony, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh commended the Party committees, authorities and agencies in the province's political system for their achievements in preparing and implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Dong Nai province for the period 2023 - 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh suggested that localities should focus on promoting propaganda, dissemination and dissemination to cadres, party members and people, especially at commune-level administrative units implementing the arrangement. From there, creating a higher consensus and unity in the political system and the entire population when organizing the implementation of the resolution.
At the same time, it is also necessary to grasp and promptly reflect the ideological situation and public opinion of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers after the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units, especially the arrangement of job positions, streamlining of staff, and the settlement of policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers affected by the rearrangement and adjustment.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh suggested that the arrangement of leaders and civil servants in new administrative units should prioritize the selection of comrades with full moral qualities and working capacity to prepare for personnel for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; resolving policies for civil servants must be strict, in accordance with regulations, impartial, and objective...
Bien Hoa City will merge the entire area of Hoa Binh ward and adjust part of the area of Tan Phong ward to merge into Quang Vinh ward;
Merge the entire Thanh Binh ward and Quyet Thang ward and part of the area of Tan Phong ward to merge into Trung Dung ward;
Merge the entire Tan Tien ward into Tan Mai ward; merge the entire Tam Hoa ward into Binh Da ward.
Long Khanh City merges the entire Xuan Trung ward and Xuan Thanh ward into Xuan An ward.
Tan Phu district merges the entire Phu Trung commune into Phu Son commune; adjusts part of Nui Tuong commune's area to merge into Phu Lap commune; merges the entire remaining Nui Tuong commune into Nam Cat Tien commune.
Vinh Cuu district merged the entire Hieu Liem commune into Tri An commune; merged the entire Binh Hoa commune into Tan Binh commune.
