The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for university-level teacher training majors and college-level Preschool Education majors in 2023.
Specifically, the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores for admission to majors in the university-level teacher training group and college-level Preschool Education major in 2023 for candidates in region 3 has the minimum score (without coefficient) of all combinations of 3 exams/subjects as follows:
The majors in the group of majors training university-level teachers are 19 points. Particularly for the majors of Physical Education, Music Pedagogy and Fine Arts Pedagogy, it is 18 points for the combination of 3 cultural subjects, other combination of admission is implemented according to the provisions of the current Admission Regulations.
For the College level Preschool Education major, the score is 17 points for the admission combination of 3 cultural subjects. Other admission combinations are implemented according to the provisions of the current Admission Regulations.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires universities, academies, colleges and junior colleges that offer teacher training programs to organize the admission of candidates using high school graduation exam results according to the regulations of the current Regulations on university admission; college admission in Preschool Education and other relevant guidance documents.
