* Inauguration of 2 traffic bridges in Vinh Phu Tay commune
Handing over charity houses to poor households in Phuoc Long town.
To celebrate the 78th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and the 18th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2023), on the afternoon of August 11, Phuoc Long Town Police (Phuoc Long District) held a handover ceremony of 3 charity houses to 3 poor households in Phuoc Long Town, including Mr. Truong Van Toan's household (Hanoi Chinh Hamlet), Mr. Phan Minh Duong's household and Mr. Du Hong Kien's household (both residing in Long Hau Hamlet). Each house was supported by the Town Police with 50 million VND from Bac Lieu Provincial Lottery Company Limited, depending on the conditions, each family contributed more to build a more spacious house. The donation of charity houses aims to create conditions for these poor households to have a solid house to live in, thereby having more motivation to work and produce, and soon rise up to escape poverty sustainably.
* On the same day, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with Phuoc Long District Youth Union and Vinh Phu Tay Commune People's Committee (Phuoc Long District) to organize the inauguration and opening ceremony of two traffic bridges across the canal in Binh Le Hamlet (Vinh Phu Tay Commune). This is an activity to welcome the 11th Congress of Bac Lieu Provincial Farmers' Association, term 2023 - 2028.

The first bridge is Binh Tam bridge, 27m long, 2.7m wide, 2 tons load capacity, construction cost nearly 257 million VND, sponsored by Nguyen Huy Binh's family (Ho Chi Minh City). The second bridge is Bo De bridge, 24m long, 2.7m wide, 2 tons load capacity, construction cost nearly 226 million VND, sponsored by Bodhi City Buddhist family (Ho Chi Minh City). Both bridges were contacted by the Provincial Farmers' Association in conjunction with Phuoc Long District Youth Union through the representative of the "Standing side by side with Vietnamese families" program of Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio Station to mobilize sponsorship.
At the inauguration ceremony, the two sponsors of the bridge construction fund received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee, a "Golden Heart" gratitude plaque from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio Station and a certificate of merit from the Vinh Phu Tay Commune People's Committee.
On this occasion, the program "Standing side by side with Vietnamese families" and the sponsor also presented gifts to 20 households in difficult circumstances in Binh Le hamlet (Vinh Phu Tay commune), each gift including gifts and cash worth over 300,000 VND.
