* Giving 400 Tet gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Nha Mat ward

On January 23, at the Hall of Ward 8 People's Committee, the Women's Union of Bac Lieu City organized a gift-giving ceremony for families in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025. Attending the gift-giving ceremony was comrade Tran Thi Hoa Ry - Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council.

Accordingly, the City Women's Union presented 50 gifts (each worth 1 million VND, including 700,000 VND in cash and 300,000 VND in gifts) to branch presidents and members with difficult circumstances in the area. The entire cost of the gift was mobilized by comrade Tran Thi Hoa Ry from Agribank.

* On the same day, the Women's Union of Bac Lieu City coordinated with the City Labor Federation to organize the activity "Wrapping cakes on spring night" in 2025.

The two units organized a package of 400 banh tet to give to policy households, poor households, and militia forces in difficult circumstances in the area.

* On January 23, the People's Committee of Nha Mat Ward (Bac Lieu City) organized the giving of 100 gifts (each containing 20kg of rice) to 100 households in difficult circumstances in the ward, supported by the owner of Bao Loc motel business (Nha Mat hamlet) - (photo).

Previously, on January 22, Venerable Thich Giac Nghi - Head of the Management Board of Quan Am Phat Dai (Nha Mat Ward) organized a program to give 300 Tet gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the locality. Each gift was worth 280,000 VND (including 10kg of rice and cash). The total cost of the program was 54 million VND, supported by Buddhists in the Management Board of Quan Am Phat Dai.
