On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on the afternoon of January 22, a delegation of Bac Lieu province officials visited and encouraged workers constructing the North-South Expressway Project passing through the province. The delegation included representatives of the Department of Transport, the Provincial Police, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Housing and Land Fund Development Center and leaders of the Hong Dan District People's Committee.

At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial People's Committee, the delegation members sent words of encouragement, acknowledged and appreciated the continuous efforts of the team of engineers and workers during the project construction process. Especially, in the context of the end of the year, when the project faced many pressures on progress and harsh weather conditions, the working spirit of the workers demonstrated perseverance and high responsibility.
The delegation also expressed confidence in the determination and workload of the construction team, believing that the project will be completed on schedule, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of Bac Lieu province as well as the region.

The Hau Giang - Ca Mau section project is part of the North - South Eastern Expressway Construction Project, phase 2021 - 2025, including: The section through Bac Lieu province, passing through Vinh Loc and Vinh Loc A communes (Hong Dan district) is 7.7 km long. This is an important project of the North - South Expressway connecting the provinces of the Southwest, expected to be completed by the end of 2025, contributing to the formation of a modern transport network, facilitating the socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta region.
