Giving Tet gifts to ethnic minority households and farmer members

On the afternoon of January 23, the Farmers' Association of Bac Lieu province, with the enthusiastic support of sponsors, organized the presentation of 100 Tet gifts to disadvantaged households in the province.

In particular, thanks to the meaningful contribution of Ms. Ngo Thi Bich Ngoc - Director of MobiFone Ca Mau, a native of Vinh Loi, the Provincial Farmers' Association presented 40 practical gifts to farmer members and 60 meaningful gifts to officials and employees of the Education and Training sector of Bac Lieu City.

On behalf of the households receiving gifts, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thoai - Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association expressed his deep gratitude to Ms. Bich Ngoc. Although the material value of each gift was not large, her sharing and caring heart brought joy and warmth to families in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year.

This is the second consecutive year that Ms. Ngo Thi Bich Ngoc has accompanied the Provincial Farmers' Association to send meaningful Tet gifts to her fellow countrymen. Her beautiful actions have contributed to creating a warmer and more meaningful Tet for the community.

* At the same time, the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee coordinated to present 100 Tet gifts to ethnic minority households in Vinh Trach Dong Commune, Bac Lieu City. These gifts were supported by a religious institution in Dong Nai Province.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. To Thanh Phuong - Head of the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee shared updated information on the results of implementing ethnic policies, especially the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021 - 2030 of Bac Lieu province in 2024. Thanks to the continuous efforts, the lives of ethnic people in the locality have had many positive changes, contributing to changing the face of Vinh Trach Dong commune.

On this occasion, comrade To Thanh Phuong also sent New Year greetings to the people, and called on them to continue to unite and strive to achieve many new achievements in production and business, contributing to building the coastal commune of Vinh Trach Dong to soon reach the finish line of a model new rural commune.
