The stock market today recorded a significant decline in TPB shares of TPBank. Opening this afternoon, the "purple bank" stock fell to 15,250 VND/share.

The morning trading session on March 20 witnessed a remarkable development when at 11:09, TPB stock code decreased by nearly 6% with exceptionally high liquidity, reaching more than 60 million units, more than 5 times the average trading volume of the last 10 sessions.

With the above developments, TPB is the stock with the sharpest decline in the banking group and is the stock with the highest liquidity in the Vietnamese stock market this morning. This is also the bank stock that foreign investors sold the most with more than 8 million shares as of 11:10.

It is known that TPBank will hold the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on the morning of April 24, 2025 at the Dragon Hall meeting room (12A floor, DOJI building, 5 Le Duan, Ba Dinh, Hanoi). The last registration date to make a list of attending shareholders is March 21, 2025.

The meeting content includes: Approval of the 2024 Operational Report and 2025 Plan of the Board of Directors, Board of Supervisors, and Executive Board; Audited 2024 Financial Report; 2024 Profit Distribution Plan and other contents under the authority of the General Meeting of Shareholders.

By the end of 2024, TPBank's pre-tax profit will reach nearly VND 7,600 billion, up 36% compared to 2023 and exceeding the plan set at the General Meeting of Shareholders. TPBank's return on equity (ROE) will remain above 17%. Total assets will exceed VND 418,000 billion, up 17% compared to the previous year and exceeding the plan by 7%. TPBank's charter capital will increase to VND 26,420 billion.

By the end of 2024, TPBank's outstanding credit balance, including customer loans and corporate bonds, reached VND261,500 billion, equivalent to a growth of more than 20% over the previous year, far exceeding the average growth rate of the banking industry.
