Opens up many opportunities
Concerts and fan meetings of K-pop stars not only provide entertainment value but also contribute significantly to the economy. It is estimated that each event can attract thousands of fans, generating large revenues from tickets, souvenirs, food and beverage services and transportation.
For example, BlackPink's Born Pink concert in Vietnam in July 2023 helped ticket sales reach more than 13 million USD (more than 332 billion VND) with an audience of up to 67,000 in 2 days, with a ticket sales rate of 100%. This shows the great potential of the Vietnamese market in the music and entertainment industry.
In addition, this event also creates opportunities for cooperation between Vietnamese and Korean entertainment companies, promoting cultural exchanges and developing joint music projects. Major brands also have the opportunity to sponsor and promote their brands through these programs, contributing to enhancing the position of the Vietnamese market in the regional entertainment industry.
